As April drew to a close, and May came a knocking,  and all that coinsiding with a bank holiday, and an extended one at that due to a Royal wedding, and it being the same weekend of the John Bull rally in Belgium, and the Fleet lions rally in well Fleet, the weekend looked busy, and so it was.

Margate, Kent.

So with the BMW loaded up, it was time to head for Kent, where I would spend the night ready for the 8am ferry from Dover the next morning.  After a night of beer and Chinese food at a friends house we headed out to meet up with a few more at the ferry port.

Ready for the off.

Pretty soon we were in Belgium having lunch at the town of Lo.

Lunch in Lo.

and then on to the rally site, were the weather and company were fantastic. While here we also visited Ipres, and the Tyn Cot cemetery, a very sombre place.  but well worth a visit.
