It was our local MAG show today (motorcycle action group) so as the sun was making a rare appearance, I opened the lockup, and pulled out the 75 Harley FLH for a run through the back roads of town and then out into the local countryside, heading for the rugby club where the show was to be held, the old 1200 V-twin thumping away.
This was to be my first trip out on the shovel, and what a strange fun bike it is, loads of torque but not the quickest bike on the road, which is a relief, as the brakes weren’t built for speed, but then I guess neither was I.
