Now then when I bought the Cafe racer, I was not over enamoured with the amount of red that had been used, and thought I could maybe tone it down a tad by using another colour, so over the last week I set to with the wet & dry, and rattle cans… I think you can see what I mean with the before shot of the bike here…
and here it is as of today, with painted oil tank, seat hump, and new (pre owned) Hagon chrome shocks…
Kev, you’re right it looks so much better with the parts painted black. Just a thought but it might look good with a period front number plate, the curved type over the top of the head light.
