Friday comes and it was time to load the bike, for it was time to head East, so I am off camping to the wilds of Kent …… to a village that sounds as if it comes from the heart of middle earth, and Hobbits should be at the bar! a little old village called Stelling Minnis.
Beer with friends, camping in the grounds of a pub, and a forecast of Autumn rain, what could be better?
So I load Black Bess my Guzzi for what will be its longest run so far, each time I have gone a bit further, but this is it, if it makes this weekend it is officially a Rally bike.
I head off into the madness that is a Friday lunch time, and the stress inducing M25, but my Guzzi ambles along easily, and I just hold on and enjoy the ride. pretty soon and I have run the M3, M25, and M20 and am now down by the Kent coast as I head into Whitstable to meet up with Ed, before heading out again to join Graham at “The Dog Inn at Wingham”

The Dog Inn

At Wingham
time was marching on, and it was soon time to hit the lanes, and head to the camp at the Rose and Crown, where we would be meeting up with Shaun (M21), Bob (Norton Big 4) and Marcus (Ariel) After a good night of beer and food in the pub and a late night for some of us, Saturday morning everybody was looking a little fragile

And as for the Guzzi, perfect, no problems there or back, just a little adjustment of the front brake, and an oil change when I got back home.
Where to next?
